FONDECO is a Bolivian microfinance institution (MFI) that provides financial products that meet the needs of smallholder farmers and agricultural producers, many of whom are women. To do so, FONDECO offers credit that is tailored to the harvest cycle, allowing farmers to pay according to fluctuations in their cash flows.
