The Florida Stop Common Core Coalition is a rapidly growing, statewide organization that has united parents, grandparents, teachers, small business owners, and concerned citizens from many points on the political, religious, and philosophical spectra. They are all united in their opposition to the Common Core system of standards, tests, and data collection because that system will harm the quality of education in Florida, violate their children's, families', and teacher's privacy rights, deny state sovereignty and local control, and be unsustainably expensive.
