FitMalaysia is the brainchild of Khairy Jamaluddin, the Malaysian Minister for Youth and Sports, second-term Member of Parliament for Rembau, Leader of UMNO Youth and the Chairman of Barisan Nasional Youth. Prior to his career in politics, he has had a rich and varied employment history, ranging from investment banking to commanding the 508 Regiment of the Malaysian reserve army with the rank of Colonel.
