First Step Coding is the best way to start learning to code. Our courses teach code literacy during evenings – so you can level up with new tech skills while you keep your day job. You can take the course online or in-person. Either way, you'll be in a collaborative environment with instant support from teachers through a challenge-based curriculum. If you're curious about a career pivot into software engineering, this is a great way to take a serious first step. You'll learn just enough coding over 4 weeks to decide if this is something you're passionate enough about to take further. If you go on to a full-time bootcamp after FSC, you'll have a head start in your education – and likely toward paying for it! All First Step Coding alumni are eligible for tuition credits up to $1,500 toward the many bootcamps we partner with. Whatever your goals are, we want to help you succeed.
