FinTech Germany Award honors outstanding FinTech companies in various categories whereas the jury evaluates and compares the start-ups in their company phases independently of the respective FinTech or InsurTech sub-sector according to a variety of different criteria. Based on a scoring procedure, the committee determines a list of the leading young companies in the individual categories, including the special prizes, and determines the winners at a jury meeting. It started in 2015 and is headquartered in Frankfurt, Hessen, Germany.
