Founded in 2000, FilesX provides software solutions to facilitate and accelerate the recovery of volume, files and application data in heterogeneous storage environments. FilesX specializes in continuous data protection and nearly instant data and application recovery software for enterprises and remote/branch offices. FilesX was acquired by IBM in April 2008. Financial terms were not disclosed.
