Fengro began processing high-grade phosphorite into Direct Application Natural Fertilizer (“DANF”) at its flagship project Bomfim. The end product is then sold to the agricultural community within close vicinity to the project’s area. The Company plans to rapidly expand production and sales of DANF at Bomfim (and at a later stage in other areas of the Cerrado), where local demand far outpaces supply. Fengro’s long term strategy is to become a leading Brazilian fertilizer producer by offering locally sourced, competitively priced, high quality phosphate products that accommodate the needs of a growing industry.
