Kirzner Entrepreneurship Center (KEC for its acronym in English) was created by the Faculty of Economic Sciences for further study of entrepreneurship and contribute to its development among students of the University Francisco Marroquín and Guatemala. There are many definitions of entrepreneurship and much discussed whether a person born or made entrepreneur. In constant analysis, since the concept of innovation Schumpeter, to the idea of entrepreneurship as Kirzner discovery process, the KEC seeks to be a source of information and dissemination of various theories, tools and processes that foster interest in entrepreneurship as personal ability and means of economic and social development. It seeks to be a meeting point for businessmen, academics and potential entrepreneurs of their country.
