FathomX is a medical imaging spinoff from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and National University of Singapore Health System (NUHS) that aims to incorporate Artificial Intelligence into technologies that can be applied in healthcare settings. The company’s flagship product: FathomMammo, is an AI assistant that enhances the efficiency and accuracy of existing clinical practice by streamlining the radiologist workflow and reducing human errors. The core technology was validated in the worldwide Digital Mammography Dream Challenge organised by the US White House to find the most accurate algorithm for analysing mammography images for breast cancer detection. It has also been featured in multiple news media including the Today Newspaper, the Straits Times, Lianhe Zaobao, Channel News Asia, Channel 8 News and Tamil Selthi and is currently being funded by the National Medical Research Council (Under the Ministry of Health), SMART Innovation Academy, NUHS, NUS GRIP and Medtech JUMPStart
