ETV Energy develops and creates advanced Lithium Ion Batteries for electric vehicles, hybrids and high-end markets. Novel battery chemistry based on a high voltage cathode is being developed for the automotive market to deliver specific energy of 220-250Wh/kg. The company has already gained a foothold in the high end market with a derivative of this technology that delivers 400Wh/kg. ETV Energy Ltd. was founded in 2008 under the name of ETV Motors to develop two novel technologies: (a) A next generation Lithium-Ion Battery and (b) an advanced Range Extender (RE) based on a micro-turbine engine.
