ESM is the Research Institute of Safety and Human Factors, international, with extensive experience in the knowledge of human factors to control the risks in transportation and industry. They investigate the development of methodologies and tools for the control of human error. The design of equipment, workplaces, human performance, organization and management, automation, communication, skills and training, health and safety, and prevention of errors or accidents. Integration of human factors in the whole system in which they are immersed, from design to end-users, especially including the work of operators, drivers, engineers or supervisors control rooms and their support teams as addressed maintenance staff, instructors and trainers.
