An illustrious life experience has molded the insightful narrative of Episcopal priest Ernest W. Cockrell. He was raised in South Eastern Oklahoma and attended Harvard Divinity School where he was trained by renowned biblical archaeologists. An essential connection between religion and reality was made by that discovery. After receiving his ordination at Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts' Church of the Redeemer, he spent 25 years as the pastor of Marion, Massachusetts' St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church. At a church in Hertfordshire, England, he was appointed summer vicar in 1969. The year 1992 marked his appointment as the rector of Saratoga, California's St. Andrew's Episcopal church and school.
