Ephemeron Labs started as an offshoot to research in semiconducting nanowire devices. The signals from single nanowire devices are on the order of picoamps. No EBIC system had the spatial resolution or the sensitivity required, so we needed to build our own. The Mighty EBIC 2.0, is the culmination of years of development. With femtoamp sensitivity and nanometer scale resolution, it is now possible to measure many signals that were simply lost in the noise.
