About company
Envision Charlotte is a first-of-its-kind public-private collaboration created in 2010 through a collaboration between Duke Energy, Cisco, and Charlotte Center City Partners to make commercial buildings in Charlotte’s urban core more energy efficient. They believe environmental sustainability, when combined with a pro-business approach, benefits the regional economy and is achieved through perpetual, formal stewardship of defined resources in the environment across the four pillars that focus their efforts: Energy, Air, Water, and Waste. Their philosophy is that if they can reduce their use in these areas, it will reduce the cost of doing business in Charlotte, resulting in the creation of greater economic development and environmental benefits.
