Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works operates a large steel producing complex encompassing the entire production chain, from preparation of iron ore to downstream processing of rolled steel. It operates through the Steel and Coal Mining segments. The Steel segment deals with the production of steel, wire, and hardware products. The Coal Mining segment handles the mining and refining of coal. In 2018 MMK Group produced 12,7 million tonnes of crude steel and 11,7 million tonnes of commercial steel products. MMK Group had sales in 2018 of USD 8,214 million and EBITDA of USD 2,418 million. The company was founded in 1932 and is headquartered in Magnitogorsk, Russia.
