EmotiCODE is a collaborative source code snippets aggregator and search engine that enables developers to find codes they are searching for and contribute with their own code content to help others with the same needs. It is an open source web application written in Ruby on Rails. Its source code can be found, forked, patched, and pulled on GitHub. The source code and all other components are released under the GPL 3 License. A Sublime Text plugin developed by EmotiCODE can be installed using Package Manager or manually downloading the files located on GitHub. It allows users to search for custom and selected text on the EmotiCODE search engine. As registered users, developers can mark snippets that they find more interesting and useful as their favorites, clicking on the icon on the left of every element. This allows them to find the snippets easily in the future on their profile pages and lets other users have an idea on their tastes and specific needs.
