Echograph is a web application that enables users to create animated GIFs on iOS devices and insert splashes of video into still photos. It can be utilized by artists as a storytelling medium on iPads, iPhones, and iPods. Echograph was launched in October 2012 and is operated from El Segundo, California. It was acquired by Vimeo on February 14, 2013.
