DRS.ie The production of Drag Reduction Systems for the articulated truck industry for supply in Ireland and Europe. This product reduces fuel consumption by up to 15%, equating to about €10,000 savings per truck per annum. It can reduce carbon dioxide production by 15 tonnes per truck per year. At €20 per tonne in carbon tax for the Irish Government per truck per year this will work out at €300 in savings per truck per year for the Irish Government. This will help to bring about a cleaner environment in Ireland and across Europe. The price is increasing to €38 per tonne by 2020, which will allow this product increase savings to €570.
