DirtSearch is a free online tool to find information on people by state, including properties, criminal history, civil suits, and more. Its aim is to accurately search public records databases and data sources with intuitive, accurate information on parties whose names have been inputted into the search engine. DirtSearch links all of the online public records and data sources on the internet, searchable from one place. It was launched in 2008 by [Erik Knight](https://www.crunchbase.com/person/erik-knight-2#/entity).
