Design+Culture Lab is a research-based urban social enterprise dedicated to transformation of urban neighborhoods through collaborative design strategies in order to address the complex spatial issues associated with cultural, racial, and ethnic inequality. It incubates and provides design solutions through prototyping, participatory design, and research while combating spatial and cultural inequality with the build environment. The organization advises and collaborates with community members, institutions, and firms to plan, design, and manage cultural places, programs, and services. Design+Culture Lab is based in Portland, Oregon.
