Dega Broadcast Systems Ltd are entering their 30th year of providing systems integration services to the broadcast industry. Based in the UK they complete the design and installation of technical facilities for broadcast and production centres as well as major events. Dega are experienced in helping to guide their customers through technology transitions having worked through three decades of evolutionary changes to the way media content is produced, stored and delivered. This knowledge is invaluable in understanding how to progress a brand new production facility or to migrate a functioning system to the latest technology. Recent projects include the production facilities at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games for the BBC and the Paralympics for Sunset and Vine, 12G studio at Surrey University, HD upgrade to the state broadcaster in Botswana, 3 production studios for Studio Works utilising IP video, and BBC local radio stations conversion to IP systems.
