Dazin uses an inclusive approach to provide a combination of fuel cookies as sustainable, reliable, and affordable cooking and heating fuel and smokeless stoves. Dazin provides both fuel and stove combined cooking and heating energy solutions for households to save lives, reduce carbon emissions, and help rural households out of poverty. The collected forestry wood waste is densified into fuel cookies in local factories. The surplus fuel cookies are sold in cities to offset the free services provided in rural areas. The company follows an inclusive circular economy model to provide clean, reliable, and renewable fuel while reducing greenhouse gases and generating jobs. Dazin is located in Bhutan and it was founded in 2013 by Deepak Ashwani and Sangay Rinchen.
