Wood is a gift from nature. It renews itself and grows across the globe, turning it on a lathe releases the natural beauty contained deep within.<br />Whilst enjoying the process of turning I produced various items for gifts to the family from bowls to boxes vases, mushrooms, snowmen, trees etc. <br />This required me to make some specialist tooling (Chisels & Gouges) and other metalwork objects for Bushcraft & LARP (Live Action Role Play) items such as; knives, forks, arrow heads, pole fighting weapons. campfire cooking aids, tripods, chains with hooks & rings, fireside pokers the list goes on ....<br /><br />Requests to buy these products have resulted in the creation of the "RJD Wood" shop on Facebook & on the web.<br />Requests for bespoke items are always welcome.<br /><br />All products are hand made by Richard Davies<br />
