CytoDel is a biopharmaceutical company that uses the tools of 21st-century molecular biology to produce recombinant derivatives of botulinum neurotoxin (BoNT) customized to specific applications. The technology allows CytoDel to manipulate the BoNT molecule, for next-generation BoNT products and into a drug delivery vehicle that can deliver therapeutic molecules to the inside of neurons. Biodefense is our top priority but CytoDel is developing programs to advance the treatment of nervous system disorders, chronic pain, and neurodegenerative diseases.
