It was established in 2012 as a reaction to unprosperous economic conditions in the country. In two years excellent results are already showing. Slovenian entrepreneurs crowdfunded more than 2 million dollars, new campaings on global platforms are launched monthly, new crowdfunding platforms are developing, changes of legislation are in progress and general public (potential backers) are widely familiar with the concept.
