Crisp is the online supermarket for fresh products. Launched in April 2018 in the Netherlands, backed by the largest seed funding in the Benelux in the last 3 years. In 2018, Crisp raised a follow-on round. Crisp is an app-only service, with delivery throughout The Netherlands. Order by 10 PM means next-day delivery in a 1-hour timeslot. The shop stocks products from more than 350 farmers, growers and makers and runs on proprietary software enabling zero-inventory and positive working capital. Crisp is founded by Tom Peeters, Michiel Roodenburg and Eric Klaassen with the mission to make better quality food available to more people.
