COREx, creating valuable products from waste CO2 for farmers and chemical companies. We take CO2 emissions from natural gas plants and convert them into liquid fuels and fertilizers. We have a patented-pending technology based on a thermochemical conversion of CO2 to methanol, biochar and activated carbon. Selling these products makes this process very profitable compared to the standard process of making carbon positive methanol. Our grand vision is to reverse global warming and increase topsoil productivity. Our solution has been vetted by the judges of the $20M Carbon Xprize Contest. We have passed the initial rigorous selection process and are semi-finalists in this contest competing with 23 teams worldwide.
