About company
The Conversations Network is a listener-supported podcast network produced by a global team of audio and video producers and editors. It is a non-profit public benefit corporation and a section 501(c)(3) public charity under the Internal Revenue Code. The network helps people capture, produce, preserve, find, and share recordings of spoken-word events through various resources, which includes the website SpokenWord.org and curated channels such as IT Conversations and Social Innovation Conversations. SpokenWord.org is a website to find and share audio and video recordings of spoken-word events and programs. It is a directory and search engine of programs published elsewhere on the web and submitted to The Conversations Network’s database by users. IT Conversations and Social Innovation Conversations produce and publish conferences and interviews. The Conversations Network was launched in 2003 in Kentfield, California, and ceased daily operations at the end of 2012.
