Colzyx is based on ground breaking and innovative discoveries from the Medical Faculty at Lund University, Lund, Sweden. Their scientific work demonstrates that the alpha-3 chain from the human collagen VI molecule exhibits unprecedented wound healing and antimicrobial effects. These are used in Colzyx´ product development of novel and unique forms of bioactive wound dressings. They utilize naturally occurring, powerful biological regeneration mechanisms to accelerate the wound healing process and to protect the patient against the whole spectrum of common and multidrug-resistant bacteria.
