Code for India is a tech community that partners with NPOs and NGOs to conduct a range of projects. The community develops technology solutions for elections, city governance, women, safety, and education. Furthermore, it organizes hackathon events for individuals. Code for India was founded in 2013 by Karl Mehta and is based in California.
