TUBERO, the Tohoku University “Advanced Medical Engineering Research Organization”, established in 2003 as one of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Super COE program, expired in March 2008. Kurino was established with the aim of realizing the clinical application of many patients by commercializing the excellent medical engineering research results of four of the more than 20 research teams of TUBERO. Kurino's corporate philosophy is to contribute to society through “clinical innovation”.
