Founded by entrepreneurs and alumni of the University of Karlsruhe (TH) Christian Schwarzkopf and Tim Lagerpusch is interdisciplinary bringing together, with the aim of start-ups, the idea at the center, students, graduate students, professors and alumni of the University - unconventional and without bureaucracy - to promote. They focus on start-ups with high growth potential, but also support social entrepreneurial projects. Promoted the CIE as a project of KIT by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the European Social Fund. The power spectrum of the CIE ranges from consulting, concept development, through to infrastructure provision and financing. The mediation of co-founders, alumni and investors represents a significant added value for entrepreneurs. Here, the CIE draws on a regional, national and global network of experts, entrepreneurs and investors.
