The Great Chicago Fire Festival is a free community celebration event that unites Chicago’s neighborhoods and celebrates Chicago’s grit, greatness, and renewal following the fire of 1871. The event is hosted by Redmoon, in partnership with the City of Chicago and the Chicago Park District. Leading up to the festival, the organizers of the event travel throughout Chicago’s neighborhoods for summer celebrations and they map the inspiring stories they collect via The Mobile Photo Factory and a video series.
