Dedicated to waging a war against useless gifts, a small group of folks in Austin, Texas launched CharityGift in 1999. We knew our world could be a better place if just a small fraction of the dollars spent on koozies, promotions, popcorn tins, flowers and fruitcakes went to charity instead, so we developed a way to use the Internet to take something tedious and make it easy. By streamlining the process for honoring special people and occasions with a donation to charity, our customers and their gift recipients can enjoy a creative and convenient way to act on their best intentions.
