CECOM is a company operating in the field of precision mechanics for ultra high vacuum (UHV), aviation and aerospace, nuclear and synchronous components. Born as a mechanical workshop in the mid-1960s, it shifted the focus of production towards research, hiring physicists and engineers, and contributing to the creation of experimental devices used in the most distinguished research centers such as CERN, from which it received recognition in occasion of the discovery of the Higgs boson. The company has numerical control machining centers for 3, 4 and 5 axis turning and milling. It is equipped with 2 CMM for numerical control dimensional testing, a galvanic department with which Copper and Nickel are deposited at thickness (over one millimeter).
