CDBN (SeedBin) is a business support group that aims to collaborate with various businesses with the sole intent of improving their operation by providing them access to market opportunities and lower cost of supply. It is able to do this by leveraging on the BMBE’s combined volume requirements to potential suppliers. For big companies, it allows them to have bigger market for their product. CDBN was an output in 2005 APEC Future Leaders’ Forum. The idea is not unique though since this has been the trust in some known economic programs designed to alleviate poverty thru economic improvements. It is patterned under Pagdanganan’s model of Cooperative Revolution initially started in Bulacan. At present, They are trying to create a business model that will benefit the farmers in selected provinces. By making farming profitable, They can provide more people access to meaningful opportunities.
