Cargo is an IoT platform enabling developers to create automotive focused applications without worrying about the hardware or cloud infrastructure required to “plug in” to the car’s massive data store. This allows developers to focus on quickly bringing new apps to market in all vectors of the automotive industry. Developers can focus on the apps they are experts at instead of building complex hardware, negotiate with data carriers, deal with long and costly certification processes, and navigate thousands of automotive standards in the 30,000 permutations of cars between 1996 and today. Cargo participated in the Highway1 accelerator Fall 2014.
