CarbonCheck software utilises a proprietary database of every commonly-used Australian construction material on the levels of carbon dioxide emissions created in its manufacture. The CarbonCheck software audits the design for a dwelling and certifies the level of carbon emissions “embedded” in the materials required for that design. The CarbonCheck software rates the design and compares it to industry averages. CarbonCheck rewards designs that have less embedded carbon than industry average, using the Australian carbon credit scheme.
