Capacity Energy Storage (CES) is a young company that emerged from a sense of urgency; CO2 emissions need to be reduced much faster than top-down policies achieve. Therefore, they feel an urgent calling to facilitate bottom-up forces to speed up the energy transition in The Netherlands and Europe. They are convinced that such transition can only be achieved by offering the right services in a commercial and effective market. This is why CES is also actively involved in developing alternative new businessmodels which are required to change the traditionally top-down organised electricity-markets. Models that connect with a post-2020 reality: without netting, with dynamic pricing and with diminishing subsidies and incentives.
