C3D Interactive is a leading 3D-based construction project control application, designed for energy projects. The solution helps Construction and Fabrication Managers, owners and contractors to visualize and control their projects, by analyzing key construction information, based on actual progress as well as do visual “look-aheads” based on current progress rates, BoQs, MTO’s and more. C3D allows users to link 3D objects to multifaceted piping data in an object oriented fashion. Data is modeled in classes and hierarchies based on isometrics, spools, materials and welds. With the aid of C3D, the management can visualize the fabrication status, identify the effects of shortages and prioritize fabrication resources based on material and project schedule priority. C3D can also provide a broader approach to selecting the field cut welds in a way to minimize scaffolding, maximize shop PWHT and locate installation bottlenecks.
