Burden Butcher is a new spin on an existing idea - a _project management web application, but for freelancers_ instead of teams. Due to the focus on freelancers, the redundant team functionality is removed and the end result is something that can best be described as "a simplified version of Basecamp, Backpack and Freshbooks, all combined and seamlessly integrated with each other". Burden Butcher is project-based, and each project have 4 different "freelancing" tools: 1) Canvases - wiki style pages for managing research, ideas and sharing files with clients. 2) Milestones & Tasks - a simple to-do list of what remains to be done; it ties into the Time Tracking tool by having timers for each task. 3) Time Tracking - a log of all time entries, total time spent and time spent divided by milestones. 4) Invoice - an invoicing tool that automatically generate invoices by fetching time entries from the Time Tracking tool.
