Bummerl is an online community around the traditional Austrian cardgames Schnapsen and Bauernschnapsen, as well as for the German game Sechsundsechzig (66). Schnapsen and Bauernschnapsen are probably the most popular cardgames in Austria. Sechsundsechzig is closely related an played mainly in southern Germany. The idea behind Bummerl is to provide not only the possibilty to play online, but to meet and connect with others and even find partners for real-life rounds. Thus, Bummerl offers not only the game, but also extensive community features like an in-game chat guestbooks or a Schnapser-Map. Bummerl GmbH was founded in late 2009 and is financed solely by its founders.
