Brilliant Optronics is a startup company co-founded by Cheng-Chang Li, Heng-Yi Tseng, and Prof. Tsung-Hsien Lin, spun off from National Sun Yat-sen Univerity, Taiwan. Brilliant Optronics focuses on R&D and manufacturing of multi-functional smart window films that can be switched between transparent, tinted, privacy protection, and image displaying. Unlike conventional glass-based smart windows, the smart films can be freely cut for utilizing to any window size/shape and directly laminated to pre-installed windows. The core technologies have been awarded several patents and prizes including Outstanding Innovation Award by MOST, LITE-ON Gold Innovation Award, and 15th Taiwan Innovation Award.
