About company

Bridge Terminal Transport began operations in 1982 in Newark, New Jersey. The company realized immediate success and expanded with Terminals in Baltimore and Charleston one year later. In 1984, the growth continued to include three West Coast Terminals and the national market coverage was complete which included the attainment of 48 state operating authorities. During the next twenty years, BTT continued the steady growth path which led to the formation of the current national network of 28 Terminals and a fleet of more than 1,300 Owner Operators, making the company the largest National Drayage Carrier in existence, with coverage of all major port locations and inland rail facilities.
