Brainwave Discovery is now increasingly focussed on using its high throughput drug screening technology to discover compounds that are potential treatments for Alzheimer's disease. BWD is based on science from the University of Edinburgh and University of Glasgow. BWD has been trading since 2010 as a contract research organisation and was identified by Scottish Enterprise as a company with significant growth potential.
