The BottleShop was founded in 2010 with the aim of allowing people the opportunity to drink better beer. They initially served over 150 bottles to drink-in or take-away at the same price – something they have never deviated from – at The Goods Shed in Canterbury and genuinely didn’t know whether anyone would believe in their concept. Would people really want to drink bottled beer in a cavernous wooden barn? Fortunately, they did. Since then they have opened a bar in Margate and their archway warehouse in Bermondsey is now their flagship taproom. They wholesale beer to bars, shops and restaurants all over the UK and only deal in beer they think is truly awesome. They successfully raised funds on Crowdcube to bring fully refrigerated beer to the UK. Exciting times ahead.
