BORAB (Bollnäs Ovanåkers Renhoudnings AB) is responsible for the municipal waste operations and also runs the waste facility with the recycling center at Sävstaås and the recycling center in Edsbyn. BORAB is a municipal company where ownership is distributed between Bollnäs (2/3) and Ovanåker (1/3). The plant is approved by the Environmental Court.
