Bookup (http://Bookup.co) is an online peer-to-peer textbook exchange engine. Bookup utilizes text messaging to connect students based on their corresponding needs for books. Students can buy, sell or trade their textbooks over SMS-text-based service without going to the website. Bookup utilizes a proprietary algorithm, created by its CTO Dr. Dinesh Agarwal, that finds matches based on a variety of factors such as price of the book, condition of the book, availability of multiple books at one seller, and the geographical distance between a buyer and a seller.
