Bitspiration was created to fill a gap they feel exists in the media coverage of technology news in the Western world – namely, the absence of news about Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. Living in Poland, they’re constantly inspired by what they see happening around us, from the numerous startups springing up around the country to the technology-based competitions, conferences, workshops, hackathons, university programs and innovators making an impact not only in Poland but on a global level. They want the world to hear about the talent and creativity originating from Poland, and they want to help Polish entrepreneurs, innovators and investors to connect with their counterparts abroad and influence global trends in technology. That’s why they have chosen to publish in English, the language of the web, in order to reach the widest audience from all corners of the globe and spread Polish innovation worldwide.
