About company

Birdhouse is an NYC-based physical theater company that creates activist performance and installation works to uncover the essence of humanity within us. We teach improvisation workshops and summer programs with the intent to foster connection and acceptance within ourselves and among other humans. Inherent in what we do is the need to both pay BIRDHOUSE artists fairly and to make our art and workshops accessible to all.
